LICENSE AND PAYMENT INFORMATION
We provide hunts at various price levels that anyone can afford. We have hunts for bow, black powder and gun seasons, In addition, we offer preserve quail and pheasant game bird shooting. Hunters will be provided license information after confirming bookings. Confirmations will be made upon receipt of a 50% non refundable deposit when reservations are made at least 30 days in advance. The remainder is due at least 30 days prior to the hunt date. At that time, a North Carolina Regulations Digest, which provides information regarding license procurement, will be mailed to the hunter when available, if requested (Also see the state information page and the links page for direct click through to the digest.). The balance of the price for the hunt must be received at least thirty (30) days before the hunt is scheduled. If the balance is not received as described, that hunt will be canceled. If the party does not arrive on the days assigned, no refund will be given. Arrivals should be after 12 noon on the day prior to your hunt and your departure should be planned for before 12 noon on the day following your hunt. There will be no hunting on the afternoon of your arrival or the morning of your departure.
WHAT TO BRING
We suggest that you bring your own toilet items, towels and wash cloths, flashlight, rain gear, clothes for cool or cold mornings, your favorite scents, insect repellant, camera, waterproof boots, large cooler, grunt call, and a blaze orange hat/cap and/or vest (required!).
FOR THE BEST DATES, BOOK NOW!! We have limited resources available for late booking hunters and we wish to make your trip memorable by being able to plan early. We are booking now for the 2001 season. Book now. Your call will be returned if we can understand the telephone number!
Preserve hunters need to make reservations and include the number of quail and/or pheasant they wish to have release each day. We provide dog pens, but do not provide hunter lodging in the price unless part of another package. We will provide lodging only at $35 per night. We suggest Roanoke Rapids or Gold Rock, both of which are about 15 miles from our site, if you desire a motel room. If you are deer hunting with us, the cost of the birds and the dog with handler are the only additional costs.
